LUXEMBOURG
During our Luxemourg weekend stay, we have been accommodated in Best Western Plus Grand Hotel Victor Hugo which was located 20 minutes away by bus from the airport, 10 minutes walk to the Kirchberg district or 10 minutes to the old city center.
I tend to stay in Airbnb or hotels when I travel on the weekends. However, hotels are great because the full service is included and you don't have to worry about later check ins or luggage on your last day. Best Western Plus comes under Best Western International hotel and resorts chain and it is basically an upgraded comfort and amenities of Best Western hotels. The room in Luxembourg was very spacious and we had a complimentary spa access within our hotel (which we didn't unfortunately used this time, but next time we will make a time for it). The view from our room was nothing exciting, as we were having a view on the street. This hotel is located in two buildings. Reception and some rooms is in one building with a breakfast area. And the other building was just opposite the road with other 5 floors of rooms. Which I found it very strange. Moreover, this hotel does offer breakfast inside, but they do not have a restaurant area for lunch or dinners. But we didn't mind as we spent most of the time outside.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this cozy and convenient hotel for any new or coming back travelers to Luxembourg!
