2. Lille Bakery

Lille Bakery is located in the old industrial area Refshaleøen, but it is very much worth venturing across the harbour to taste one of their baked goods. From Berliners to sourdough bread to cinnamon rolls – you will find it all here, and you will find it is the very best quality. The founders of Lille work closely with farmers to ensure that their products live up to their high standards and show respect for the environment.

Walking near Hirschsprung Collection (Hirschsprungske Samling), visit this cafe. Come here for nicely cooked croque-monsieur, eggs benedict and avocado toasts if you are hungry. At O12 - Coffee & Eatery, visitors can order tasty brunches all day long.

4. The Coffee Collective

Founded in 2007, the Coffee Collective is to this day 100% owned and run by Peter N. Dupont, Casper Engel Rasmussen og Klaus Thomsen. With several competition awards in the bag, including gold in both the World Barista Championship and World Cup Tasting championships, we continue to explore exciting coffee experiences. 5. Andersen & Maillard Norrebo

The pace at this coffee shop in Norrebro has been buzzing since its opening. Andersen and Maillard now churn out speciality coffee and homemade pastries from their in-house roastery and patisserie to hungry customers every day. Whilst they offer a simple breakfast and lunch menu (granola, toasted sandwiches), you really want to get here early for one of their homemade croissants, or even better, their chocolate kouign-amann: a flaky, crusty swirl of goodness.

6. Juno the bakery

At Juno you'll find pastry, which is made with carefully selected and organic ingredients, with a focus on the tasting experience. At Juno everything is freshly baked several times during the day and you'll find both sourdough bread and buns, pistachio croissants and Juno's iconic cardamom rolls.

7. Meyers Bageri

The Danish chef and entrepreneur, Claus Meyer, along with a baker and a confectioner have opened the little delicious Meyers Bageri bakery in Jægersborggade in Copenhagen. Here you can buy organic bread, freshly ground flour and cakes. The bakery opens early in the morning, and is often crowded - there is only room for five people.
