In general, visiting Sri Lanka anytime apart from summer time is a great decision, as you will be avoiding the monsoon season in there. In fact, in December you will still get pleasantly warm weather and much less tourists around. Sri Lanka is an island south of India, and it is beautiful for its nature, vivid cultural scenario and mesmerizing coastlines. Alberta is a pretty large region of Canada, and I would suggest to stay around Calgary and Edmonton cities, as these are the largest cities in Alberta and majority of skiing areas and national parks are within the distance of those cities. Alberta is a province in Western Canada. Its landscape encompasses mountains, prairies, desert badlands and vast coniferous forests. It has more than 600 lakes, and rich mineral deposits, which makes the nature of Canada absolutely stunning all year around. Whether you will decide to visit during warmer periods to see the plants all blown up and all green, or whether you will travel there during winter time to enjoy some cold weather and the landscape covered in white snow.

December in particular is a great time to travel to Kenya, since the rains are short and you have the chance to see newborn animals and migratory bird species. Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It's also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. From Nairobi, the capital, safaris visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations, and Amboseli National Park, offering views of Tanzania's 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro. Make sure to do your research prior, because not all national parks will have all the animals in the natural setting, so depending on what you are keen on seeing, you should visit the specific park.

Weather may be little uneven in December in Cape Town, but still you may enjoy warmer days and the beautiful natural landscape around. Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Take a cable car trips for views, or get on a boat tours to nearby Robben Island,  the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum. It has one of the most stunning Christmas markets in Europe, alongside other places like Vienna, Brno or Prague. Apart from the great market, Dresden has plenty of other attractions for tourists. Palawan, Philippines

Palawan, officially the Province of Palawan, is an archipelagic province of the Philippines that is located in the region of MIMAROPA. It is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction. Philippines are situated in the western Pacific Ocean, it consists of about 7,641 islands. Two of the main islands that are popular to visit is Palawan and Cebu. Each one of them are very different from what they can offer and from natural landscape. Palawan has many limestone cliffs, turquoise water and sandy beaches. Whereas Cebu has many beautiful waterfalls, sandbars, hills, swimming with white sharks, few beaches too and the nightlife in here is much vibrant. Either way, Philippines island is stunning place to go to visit and you may plan your island hopping depending on what you are looking for and depending on your location.
