Most atmospheric and picturesque town, coupled with beautiful resorts where you can live there, not just stay. Almanity resort is a paradise on its own. Upon welcoming to the hotel, we have been welcomed by staff of the hotel as well as the manager and spa director themselves. Which makes it already super personal and friendly. We have arrived prior the usual checking time. However, they have let us in and checked us in couple hours before the actual check-in hour.

The hotel is spa inclusive. Therefore, I have enjoyed the range of massages and activities that Almanity was hosting. I have myself tried a meditation session for a first time there and have to say that it was a great experience!

THE LOCATION

Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort is located about 12 minutes away from the old quarter, making it easy to walk around the city. This resort reflect the essence of cultural heritage in its architecture and philosophy while adding a modern minimalist twist.

Since the resort is located so central, we could have either walk or rent a bike to get around. In addition, they were offering shuttle buses to the beach couple times per day, making it convenient to guests.

The resort also offer a restaurant and a bar with happy hours. There is also a small supermarket located in front of the hotel. Therefore, you have all what you need within few foot steps.







                              

THE ROOM & INTERIOR

The resort offers an inclusive wellness journey, offering daily spa treatments, yoga classes, Tai Chi, meditation sessions and other wellness activitues, with My Chi spa being the largest on the Central Coast of Vietnam. The whole resort is stunning and you will find yourself so calm and relaxing.

Ever room in this resort has its own type to cater for a wide variety of preferences and vacation types, Each room is minimalist in style with an elegant ambience. You have "My Spirit", "My Mind", "My Energy", "My Heart", "My Soul" and "My Alma" room types.

I have been staying in "My Spirit" room which was designed to reflect traditional narrow Vietnamese housing style. With the lounge and a toilet downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom on the upper flow. This type of room was very interesting and suitable for adventurous young travellers, solo travellers or couples.

Loved the minimalist details of the rooms and the whole resort. Notice also, that every day Almanity is emphasising a spirit associated with colours. Depending on what day you will arrive, you will receive a note with little explanation of each colour and mood.



                             

                             

THE FACILITIES

As I have mentioned, Almanity is spa inclusive resort, where all guests have complimentary spa and massage access daily. Apart from this, they are running activities such as yoga, meditation or tai chi. My Chi spa is the largest spa in the Central Vietnam and it will give you a true holistic relaxation through wide range of services and knowledgeable staff.

Apart from their spa, which is their key point of sale, Almanity has also their own restaurant and a bar with music and happy hours.

THE VIEWS

As it is a resort, there is not much view of the city. Pretty much all views are centered to the resort pool in the middle. However, the view is still not bad, at least it is not a wall of a building or such. The resort itself is a beautiful place to look at, with the pool and trees around.

                              

PEOPLE

People were absolutely lovely and friendly. We were welcomed immediately we stepped out from the car, our luggage were carried out to our room already while we have done our checking in process, the manager itself went to introduce and greet us. Overall, staff were very friendly, helpful, they remember you and always there when needed.
