MALLORCA
M
Mallorca trip kick of officially my summer 2017. We have been in Mallorca from Thursday night until Sunday night. It was a short longer weekend getaway and we have managed to enjoyed our time there. So let me summarized our trip in a day itinerary. We have arrived late on Thursday night, so we have just manage to get to Palma de Mallorca old city and check in to our cute Airbnb place.
Day 1
So day 1 officially started the following day. We have decided to stay in Palma a discover this city. We were accommodated in the city, just a short walk to the cathedral. Therefore we have been walking majority of our time. What we have seen and what to do in Palma, you may refer to my previous article. After half a day strolling around the city and visiting pretty places, we have decided to spend the rest of the day in Palma beach which was about 20 minutes walk from our place.
In the evening that day Mallorca was celebrating San Juan festival. Thus we joined the crowd and enjoyed the Spanish celebration outdoor.
Day 2
On our second day, we have decided to do a day trip to a small city called Soller. We have found out that there is a small wooden train going directly to this city. For the experience and the view around Mallorcan countryside, we have decided to take this train and make a trip. Soller was a pretty small town with Saturday's market. After couple of hours in the city we take another train which went to Port de Soller where we spent the rest of the day on the bach. In the evening of the day, we took the last train back to Palma.
Day 3
On our last day of our short trip, we have decided to visit Belver castle which is located couple of km from Palma on the west. We have walked and hike up and then we took bus to go to Cala Major playa which is located half an hour away from Palma. We have enjoyed our last day on the sun and catching waves.
Mallorca is full of natural beauty and I am sure if we would stay a bit longer, we wouldn't be bored!
