VERONAWe have decided to spent a day in Verona in between travelling from Milan to Venice. The trip to Verona already started hilariously when I have put alarm clock wrong, so we have missed the train. But it was alright. We said, we'll get a bit more sleep to catch the next one then. But, we managed to miss a second one as well. Just by a minute and half! Damn it..
We were rushing so much, but yet missed the second train by a bit. Well, we catch our third train and it would have been the last opportunity to take the train, otherwise we would have to pay for extra tickets. Other than that, we have very much enjoyed our trip to Verona.
Because of a slight delay in the morning, we had 2 hours less in Verona then initially planned, but we managed to walk around the city and seen the major attractions. Such as Juliet's balcony, Arena di Verona, Scaliger tombs or major piazzas.
In the evening, we catch another train to Venice where our last destination of Italian holidays was. The place where I was most excited about... Soon Venice diary up!
