So here is a quick recap of London Fashion Week which has just passed. This year main LFW again took place in Soho. I went down to London for an extended weekend and mainly to make my appearance and check on fashion scene. The most enjoyable experience is always street style and people watching. All designers and shows that I was able to attend this year was great, love their collections and innovative pieces. For the whole LFW overview of shows and pieces, check Vogue online. London is always a number one fashion city for street style and emerging designers, and I do like it that way. The London's unique eclectic outfits that you see on the streets even when it is not a fashion week, make you very inspired. From natural textures to bold prints. Apart from street styles and shows, there are presentations and showrooms. These are great for taking your time to explore the collection, talking to representatives of the brand and networking. These bellow pictures are from Fashion Scout showroom that I took while waiting in between for shows. As every year, I am very impressed but number of talented individuals and graduates. Scroll further down to see some snapshots from the fashion week and highlighted outfits from shows that I have attended and liked.

This year, we couldn't miss big statement hats on Ashly Isham's fashion show. The collection Autumn/Winter 2016 was inspired by Igor Skaletsky, a Russian young contemporary artist who is know for its manipulation of provoking textural collages and paintings. Isham's collection gave us a dreamy romantic feeling with strong tailored silhouettes. The colours of the collection range from deep dark romantic hues of olive or magenta.
Prophetic Renaissance themed fashion show which was followed by a live music. Prophetic brand is from USA and soon it has established its name in UK market as a fashion-led ethical brand. The colour palette of the collection was with all natural and earth tones, such as smokey grey, navy, sea foam, kelly green and black couldn't be missed.

This season he has shown us various knitwear techniques and fabric textures of elegant gowns, coats or sweaters. There was a live music during the show by Project APJ led by DJ QuestionMark.
Judy Wu collection was inspired by female aviation pioneers like Amy Johnson and Amelia Earthart. A strong essence was captured in Judy's collection with parachute dresses, tailored panelling and strong colours, such as bold orange, khaki green or navy.
Interestingly, make up was done by Lan and her team once again during this year's fashion scout shows. I have interviewed her during my monthly career inspiration section, read the interview with make-up artist Lan here if you haven't seen it yet.
